Are there any other artists you look up to that come in the way that your music does?
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I don’t have much of a taste in music. I just listen to music that I enjoy.
You have so many records that you want to be the best at.
What do you look at when you’re playing and think, I could be a better musician?
Well you make everything about music. I was always a great entertainer. I like to be in front a large group of people.
Oh your voice is amazing?
It’s a huge thing. I always talk loud. I love my crowd.
If they’re excited I’m having fun. I love to talk to the crowd. I don’t like to sit in the back and wait for a lull. I’m just in the middle and they can see I’m having fun.
Do you have a lot of friends in the hip-hop/rap scene?
I’ve been to a few shows with my group, but mostly we just want to perform around town, and be around the people.
Do you ever go out with the guy who you just talked about?
Not sure if we do. I want to keep doing that. I want to do that as long as I can do it. I don’t understand this idea that I should work for a label but go into a lot of shows with a big-name artist and then I should just leave it up to the music. If you’re not a good dancer or singer, people who do that type of music don’t give a fuck.

It’s a whole different mentality. The music has become about getting attention, which is easy with a lot of people nowadays.
I’m always curious, I go places out of curiosity. I like doing that and being out here.
